Taylor joined the firm in January of 2017 and currently has over 6 years of experience in public accounting, including with Tribal and Casino financial statement audits, NIGC MICS agreed-upon procedure engagements, and Uniform Guidance Single Audits. Taylor recieved his Master's Degree in Accounting in 2013 from The University of Montana.
Before joining Stauffer & Associates, Taylor worked in Montana as an auditor for Tribal governments and casinos in the Midwest, the Rocky Mountain region, and the west coast. During this time, Taylor performed and assisted with financial statement audits for Tribal nations, casinos, and other Tribal entities; internal and external NIGC MICS agreed-upon procedure engagements for Tribal casinos; and other procedures to fit individual client needs.
In his free time
Taylor enjoys traveling with his wife and taking in new food, music, and culture. As a fan of retro pop culture, Taylor puts his CPA organizational skills to use collecting vinyl records, VHS & Betamax tapes, and LaserDiscs.
